Can I use VisiStaff for remote and on-site workers?
Yes. Desktop time tracking and activity review support your remote team. Mobile clock-in, assignments, checklists, and requests support people working on site. Both come together in the same workspace.
Do my workers need an AI account?
No. People can track time, assign work, reply to requests, and review timesheets directly. Connecting an agent is optional. If you connect one, you use your own agent and model account.
Can I manage more than one company?
Yes. One login can belong to multiple companies, with separate roles, records, and billing. Switching companies never moves a running timer or mixes up your team’s work.
What does desktop monitoring collect?
Your company can enable idle periods, foreground app names, and optional screenshots during tracked work. Workers can see the active policy. Typed content is not recorded, and activity levels do not automatically change payable hours.
What counts as a paid worker?
A person enabled to track time or receive assignments is a worker seat. Manager-only accounts and integration identities are free. A worker in two companies has a separate seat in each company.
Can I host it myself?
Yes. VisiStaff is open source, including the core product and agent interfaces. Run it on your own infrastructure, or use VisiStaff Cloud and let us handle hosting, updates, and backups.
